LEGO 40567 Forest Hideout GWP in June: the primary official picture

Last weekend we were able to tell you about the upcoming LEGO 40567 Forest Hideout GWP for the first time. Now, for the first time, there’s an official photo of the collection posted on a China store calendar for June. But of course LEGO Castle GWP (gift with purchase) is also available in this country, more specifically among June 15 and 22 Or until supplies run out. You only have to during this period at least 150 EUR Shop in the LEGO Online Store or in LEGO Stores, where the offer is not limited to a specific theme world, and the set will automatically end up in your cart.

Many thanks to Dylan Chow for forwarding the photo and to our reader Heiko for submitting the full calendar!

LEGO Jungle Hideout 40567

The name LEGO 40567 Forest Hideout may sound familiar to you. That’s because, like LEGO 10497 Galaxy Explorer, it’s a reimagining of a classic that some of you might have played as kids: LEGO 6054 Forestmen’s Hideout from 1988.

The new LEGO 40567 Forest Hideout will be a near-new remake of the old set – but only at first glance! If you take a closer look, you’ll see that many details haven’t been changed and improved, and that the build of the set has generally arrived in 2022 and looks much more natural.

For example, the tops of individual trees will not look very angular, instead the popular LEGO part 40379 in black is used, which is known from other sets as tentacles, the tip of the tail, the horn or the claw. Leaf elements are connected with this, resulting in a beautiful curved shape of the branches.

The tree house has also undergone a facelift. Four blue 1×8 tiles are used to roof the LEGO 40567 Forestmen’s Hideout, and the gray brickwork is complemented by plenty of masonry bricks. Of course there is also a goal. The two figures included in the new edition are two guards in green pants, a green blouse with red arms, and a red apron at the neck. Only the heads differ, one wears sideburns and a green forestman hat, and the other is a guard with a long brown braid.

The set’s packaging is based heavily on classic LEGO packaging, and in addition to the headband in the upper left corner, it also has a nod to this year’s LEGO 90th anniversary with a matching Forestman head in the lower right corner. It also fits the theme well with the upcoming LEGO 10305 Knight Castle, which will also feature three Forestmen figures.
